Their Story
Scotty was a student at Boyanup Primary School.
He was excited about soon going up into grade 3 when he was accidentally drowned in an accident in the Preston River, near the family farm during the January school holidays.
Adored big brother to Brett and little brother to Caroline.
The Scott Richards Junior Citizenship Award was donated to the Boyanup Primary School by his family in his memory. The award continued until 1992 when the last Richards sibling completed studies at the school.
Scotty was buried in the Capel cemetery beside his grandfather Percy.
