Their Story
Hilda Edna Reynolds was the third child born to Charles Leslie and Annie Georgina Reynolds. Their first child Eva had been born in Fremantle. The four following children were born in Bunbury. Charles had worked in the Government Railways but had decided to try his hand at farming and took up land at 254 Jamiesons Road, Capel.
Hilda received her education at Capel School.

Hilda married Walter Earnshaw in Busselton on March 21, 1934.
Sadly, in July the same year Hilda’s little brother Arnold succumbed to a heart problem and passed away.
Six years after Hilda’s marriage she passed away following the birth of her fifth son, leaving Walter to look after 5 very small boys.
