Members took a keen interest in those who had enlisted in WW1,WW2 and Vietnam. A complete set of reserach files were created that detailed the involvement sof the residents from the Shire of Capel.These files can be found at the Ron Maidment Archive Room, and house the names and information of those who served.

Niche Wall Cover 2021 – Offically Opened August 26 2021
Capel District Cemeteries Project volunteers have completed the grave markers to be placed on the Unknown Graves at the Capel Cemetery as part of the most recent project to
“Mark and Honour”
A workshop was held on March 8th 2023 to attach plaques ready to be installed at the cemetery.
The Volunteers then spent three days in the Capel Cemetery placing 105 grave markers in the locations.
